ExploreNorth Tours is operated by year-round Yukon residents Murray Lundberg and Cathy Small. From 1990 until 2006, Murray was driver/guide for 10-12 day motorcoach tours that travelled virtually every road in Alaska, the Yukon Territory and the western Arctic. During that time he went on scores of excursions, from city bus tours to 4x4 adventures, horse trail rides and flightseeing. In 1997 he opened an online guide to the circumpolar North that has become ExploreNorth, the world's largest such guide, and in 2005 began working occasionally on cruise ships as an Alaska Destination Speaker. Cathy has travelled extensively in Alaska and the Yukon since 1999, on trips ranging from a 10-day sailing schooner cruise to 4x4s, canoes and large cruise ships.
